Sometimes old tech is the solution to your prepping problems. We know that all modernized militaries and governments have the means of homing in on a radio signal broadcasting location, regardless of incription or frequency hopping capabilities.
So an old fashioned hard wire system might be the answer to setting up an undetectable LP/OP (listening post, observation post); vs, radios that rely on broadcasting a signal. This old tech is easy to obtain and very user friendly.
A TA-312 phone will run you $50 to $100 depending on condition. And a new DR-8 spool with 1 mile of WF-16 Field Wire will only cost you about $150. The Technical Manual will cast you nothing because it’s attached.
Food for thought.
